Scary Verses

I call this the downward spiral where man moves further and further from God small step by small step. But its also what I call one of the scary verses - like the one where Jesus says "away from me, I never knew you".
Verse 21 - they knew God but did not glorify Him, or show gratitude (now the scary part) - their thinking became nonsense and their minds were darkened.
With a darkened mind we worship the creation rather than the creator, we look to self, not Him. We live in a world that makes fun of God and His followers, yet we don't stand up and boast as Paul would say.
