Let there be Light

I praise God today that in the beginning GOD said, "Let there be light" and there was light." He is the One who created light and gave it to the world. I was thinking the other day while driving with the sun in my eyes, just how dependent this earth is on the sun. What would happen if the sun, that brilliant star, began to burn out? Life on earth would quickly follow. Thank you, Jesus, for that light.

I am also thankful and praise Him that in MY darkness, He still speaks light into my life. He is the One who looks at me and says, "Let there be light" and there is light. What an incredible darkness there would be if God withdrew the light of His presence from this world and from my life. I praise You, My God, for the light you speak into the darkness!
