Building Altars to the Lord
Two things stand out. First, as Abram arrives in the promised land, he has his priorities set: he makes an altar to the Lord. We don't know exactly "what" he built, but his focus was on putting something there as a marker/remembrance, etc. And he worshipped. Second, it makes me wonder why we don't do the same thing more often? When our house was still being built, we wrote Bible verses on the floors of the rooms to dedicate them to God. Maybe I need to do things like this more often? Do things to incorporate worship and devotion to God into more places of my life. What do you do to accomplish worship of God in your daily life?
