They Follow our Lead!

...Noah gets drunk and pretty much ruins his son's life because he saw his father naked. I think it was pretty unfair to Ham to suffer because Noah, his father got drunk and fell asleep naked. Anyone could have come into the tent! It was his{Noah} very flaw and uncontrolled addiction that caused a curse to fall on {his child}Ham and all his descendants. I think this is a good picture of generational curses. The father's sin caused death in the life of his unsuspecting and unintended child. It could have been any of the three boys. But Noah's choice destroyed the future of his youngest child. Our decisions as Parents are extremely important. Our children are such GREATNESS filled, and astounding potential pieces of clay and one decision we carelessly make can redesign their lives. Obviously there was purpose marked on everyone of their lives, because they were the "chosen family" to be used by God to rebuild HIS creation. Ham was not excluded from being "Chosen". When God saw Noah, He too, saw Ham. They could've been born into any jewish family at anyplace in time but they were born to Noah. Wow... right? Now that's a what if... I wonder if Noah ever felt guilty??? Because truly it was his err that in the end caused great shame and turmoil to fill the lives of Ham and every descendant that followed. Just as in the lives of Adam& Eve, their sin manifested into Cain and Abel. Sin just trickles down from generation to generation. The sins of the generation aren't always the same but the sin certainly manifests it self in death!
