Practice what you preach
I have learned much about myself from being a parent. There were many times when I was correcting my children that God would slap me in the head and say "I have been telling you the same thing for years and you still don't get it!" It is said that talk is cheap and I agree. God wants us to examine our own hearts. He will reveal things to us about ourselves but if we are talking all the time we will never hear Him.
