God Does the Healing
I added a separate journal entry this morning on Matthew 4:23-24 about God's Kingdom and healing. Here in Acts 4, we see the disciples praying for boldness and affirming that God is performing miracles of healing.
The disciples realize something very important. Though we (Christians) are the ones praying for the sick, it is God who stretches out His hand and performs the miracle, though us. In ourselves, we have no power. Our power is through God's Word and His Holy Spirit, operating through us.
