Servants Creed
30 He must become greater and greater, and I must become less and less.
This statement is really impressive to me. I mean its really a very hard statement for me as a human of flesh and blood, but I am not only flesh and blood. This statement is almost a servant’s creed to me at least I see it as how I should look to serve God and through that serve others. I also think it is interesting and comforting to know that I am not the only one who loses sight of this idea. John later asks Jesus are you the one or should we still wait? I mean John was in prison but even he doubted, but God never changes he stays the same and will constantly remind me of hey you got off track you are a servant not someone looking to be served. This is what I did, it’s not easy but pick up your cross and follow me!! So I must always get back on track and truly want less of me and more of Him.
