stupid question of the day: if all creatures were to die in the flood, were sea creatures allowed to remain since obviously a flood of the very waters in which they live would not necessarily kill them? or was there something about those waters that reduced their number as well? just curious.
i also noticed that unclean animals were one pair each and clean animals were seven pairs each. there were four pairs of humans. i wonder does that place us somewhere in between clean and unclean? now i realize that is a category for sacrifices, and then later for food. but is there any connection? particularly when we offer ourselves as living sacrifices in romans 12?
