How do we recapture this?

On its face, this verse does not use the labels we use today to say who these people are. They weren't divided by race or gender, which disciple they trusted or liked more, what town they were from, what kind of house they lived in, who their daddy or momma was, who their brother or sister was, what clothes they wore, what mode of transportation they used, whether they were young or old, whether they were fat or thin or whether they smelled bad or were freshly bathed. All this verse says in the NIV is: "All the believers were together and had everything in common." The Message version says: "And all the believers lived in a wonderful harmony, holding everything in common." In today's era of division and strife in the modern church (there are reportedly some 30,000 denominations worldwide), how can this happen today?
One way these barriers are being erased is through social media, where pixels on a screen slice through all the noise and distraction of dividing factors to leave human beings who love God and are called according to His purpose. Isn't this the only distinguishing feature which should matter?
