This is such a brutal verse. God liked Able. And he didn't like Cain. It seems like life still feels this way sometimes - God likes certian things for reasons I dont understand.
The way I was always taught is that if you are Cain, you have to just suck it up - God didnt like what you brought, and you are out. Why do I find myself drawn to Cain more than to Able.
