As Far As You Can See
Abram was standing somewhere around the northwest point of the dead sea. There is a place at the north east side where you can almost see to the Mediterranean, but still can not see all the way north and east.
So, what was God asking Abram to look at? Could this be an exercise of seeing by faith? I think so.
In the next verse God told him that is descendants will inherit as far as he could see. Judging by your present faith, how much land would your descendants have inherited. Limited only by faith.
