Family Bonds

It's funny how much we get away from the simple things sometimes. Especially in our culture and even simpler in our day and age, family doesn't really stick together. People are so eager to venture out on their own, never fully realizing the benefits of being a "team player" of sorts. I mean back in biblical days from my understanding alot of the family unity was simply normal custom to have like 3 generations or more in the same house, in the same family business, etc.

So for them it may not be odd that brothers Peter and Andrew follows Jesus together and then brothers James & John, but in this day and time you don't really find that too much and when you do, you tend to find people playing favorites and overlooking those who aren't blood. And I don't know God or Jesus to play favorites.
