...and he died.
Reading a geneaology is not usually a thought provoking experience for me. But today is different. Genesis 5 reminds me that it doesn't really matter how long a person lives, because it will always end the same way...and he died. No fanfare, just a simple statement and then it is on to the next person in the list.
We must remember to live for God each and every day, trusting him with our lives and being thankful for our salvation in Christ.
