Genealogy oddities

The genealogoies from Matthew and Luke are different - different people, different organization. It's interesting that they were not concerned about havind identical lists, they were both trying to do different things (or prove differnet points) so it didnt matter if their lists were factually the same. Ancient scholarship is so different from our scholarship, and it makes us nervous.
