One Heart, One Mind.
29 And now, O Lord, hear their threats, and give us, your servants, great boldness in preaching your word.30 Stretch out your hand with healing power; may miraculous signs and wonders be done through the name of your holy servant Jesus."
That prayer can be related to today. With everything going on in this crazy world today, we as Christians need the strength to continue witnessing. It seems so much easier to just sit back, and stay safe instead of risking everything. Too many people do not believe in the power of Jesus anymore. We need Jesus to stretch His hand out and show what he can do for those who believe. He can still perform miracles and give sins. People can still be healed. Gods power is the same. It has not dwindled. Our faith has.
It may be a different time now than for Peter and John, but Christians are facing the same problems and desire help for the same need. The strength to witness to others and the desire for them to believe.And just like the Christians then joined together as one heart and one mind, we too can form that same bond, because we all desire the same miracle.
