Jesus was forsaken so that I didn't have to be
"And at the ninth hour Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?”–which means, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” Mark 15:34
Thought: God had to forsake Jesus when Jesus took on the sins of the world.
Application: Jesus was forsaken by God so that I didn't have to be. I am so grateful for my salvation! I need to live my life in light of Christ's sacrifice for me!
