There's always a Hook
Lot chooses the best lands of Jordan to live and water his cattle and who could blame him. The Scriptures are very clear that it was very fertile ground to support his growing family...BUT it was close to Sodom. Drawn to the green pastures of Jordan would bring Lot very close to Sodom which in time would hook his family and ultimately destroy his wife.
The beauty of prosperity often masks a sharp hook that can destroy all we hope to gain in life.
