Be fruitful and multiply
When you look for the word fruitful in the dictionary, one of the definitions you will find is offspring. It's interesting that God said be fruitful, and then we multiply. God is calling us to be fruitful to live demonstrating the fruits of the spirit everywhere and in everything we do. Then our fruits will be desirable to others. The result? They will come to know Jesus and we multiply. They will be our offspring. Just like in the natural a married couple desires children, in the spiritual the desire of our hearts should be that our relationship with God results in spiritual children.
