Slavery in the Bible
There are so many issues to discuss in the first part of Genesis. These verses were used to justify Slavery through out the Christian world. Many people wonder why Paul and the other writers in the New Testament do not condemn slavery. I wonder if there is actually a cultural history of slavery for Israel (outside of their own time as slaves in Egypt).
Also, what exactly was done wrong to have Canaan condemned?
