The Two Fold Hatred
The global hatred is focused on two primary individuals: God the Father and God the Son.
The moral and ethical teachings of the bible are repugnant to the evil human heart. This is what the world wants to break off of them - those laws, ordinances that keep them from pursing the wicked and evil desires of their hearts.
The laws of Moses and the Sermon on the Mount aggravate the selfish, prideful and evil human heart. To the unsaved these laws are like the scratching of finger nails on the chalk board. But to those who love the lord and the appearing of Jesus these laws are a delight to the soul and bring the utmost pleasure and delight!
David for sees a day, that now is not far off, where the honored Bible restraints are thrown off. The global community will have a new system of their own morality - a morality free from the laws of God, a morality that lets them do as they please without having the warnings of God. In David's day aman finds what the Bible has to say about sanctity of marriage, sexual purity, respect for parents, reverence for them, authority, sin salvation and coming judgment perfectly acceptable.
Today the scene is quickly and rapidly changing. The rebellion finds in its focus the universal hatred of the Trinity and the precepts of God. The seeds of this rebellion have already been laid and are beginning to sprout forth. Before we know it this will be the universal atmosphere of the entire earth. The day is quickly approaching, if not already here, when men and women will seek to cast of the restraints of God because of their longing to increase in sin and wickedness.
This is an incredibly sad reality. The day is coming when the globe will rage against God and His laws. Laws that were meant for our good and if followed would have opened up a flood of pleasure like nothing the world has to offer. But the world is blinded wallowing around in the ses pool of sin choosing the momentary pleasures of this world instead of the eternal, life giving pleasures of following their creator and savior Jesus Christ.
