The Lord is King
It is as if God is saying, "Do you not know that I already rule the earth? You can wage war against me and try to throw me off the earth but I already own Zion (Jerusalem) and I have placed my King there. Your war is useless and your plans are futile."
Though Jerusalem is fought over the enemy will not control it forever. It is the Lords and is the central place where He will rule from in the age to come. It is the place of His throne forever and ever.
