I find it interesting that in chapter 15:6 it is written that Abraham BELIEVED! Then as we read just a couple of verses' down that he takes his wife's servant and has a child with her. Isn't this a prime example of what we find ourselves doing when it comes to the promises of God? We want to believe in spirit but we try to force things in the flesh by doing it our way!
The AMAZING thing is that even after we are disobedient and out of the will of the Father, He still chooses to Bless us, even in are stupid moments.
Something note worthy, is that God Blessed Hagar and made a covenant with her now as well, and any other servant that was under Abraham was also given a covenant.
We serve what seems to be a very complex God, but yet it is very simple!
Be OBEDIENT, Do what He says, and SAY what HE WILL do!!
We need to get in a mind set that God not only wants to Bless us! God wants to Bless everyone and everything around us!
