A Mediator

I love the New Living Translation of this verse: "If only there were a mediator between us, someone who could bring us together." Is that not the heart longing of the one who feels separated from God? Oftentimes our relationships get wounded and we wish someone could step in and help us patch things up. Thanks be to God for Jesus, who steps in as the mediator and "brings us together."
