Christianity is not simple
The reality is that following Jesus was never meant to be simple. The gate is narrow and the way is hard and those who find it are few. Let us not be swept into the idea that Christianity is mere affiliation to Christ and ticket to heaven. Rather Christianity is the Way of Life - or rather a pattern for living today. Therefore - when we read the word we should apply the word to our whole lives. Jesus showed us a way to live, we therefore need to follow in it and that is what makes it hard. But thank God that He also provided the Holy Spirit to help us on this way. Vs 14 says this way is the way to LIFE rather than the alternative - DEATH! May you walk in the WAY of LIFE today!
