The Nehemiah Project: Day Six

-In life, there will always be naysayers and those that try to distract you from the mission that God has placed in your heart. If you give them the opportunity, you can allow these people to steal your joy and cause you to doubt your calling.
-In the midst of adversity, Nehemiah called out to God to strengthen him against these attacks. How often do I try to fight the attacks of the enemy in my own power rather than trusting Him to intervene?
-Leaders should take heart of this passage because of the encouragement Nehemiah received from those he was leading. They believed in him and the vision God had given him for restoring Jerusalem.
