What a picture of our amazing savior Jesus and how He feels about us. This brief story gives us a picture of how Jesus sees and observes the details in the life of His children. He notices what’s going in this women’s life and how not only is she a widow but she just lost her only son. Not only did Jesus observe this but He allowed Himself to be emotionally connected the situation. Maybe for a brief moment He thought about the fact that He was an only child and that His father would have deal with this same type of pain soon? Either way His heart went out to this women as He told Her not to cry and then healed her son.
I am so grateful that not only does God see the details of my life but He responds in love and compassion. He cares about me in the times of pain and loves me through it. He is not afraid to show emotion towards me so I should not be afraid to do the same. Whether it’s laugh, cry, question or doubt God is there and He is with me observing my life.
Thank you Lord so much for your dedication and faithfulness to me! You are so amazing.
