Curse God?
So . . . everyone seemed to know intuitively that "cursing God" was "the solution" to the misery. I wonder why? Cultural? I mean . . . when I'm having a hard time, I'm not sittin around itchin to "curse God." More likely, I'm tempted to simply take things into my own hands and find a way, rather than trust God. Or, I just gripe and moan, or maybe internalize the whole thing. Then again . . . . . maybe all of those things are, in essence, a curse to God. Maybe a declaration of independence = "curse You God."
