So we see that it wouldn't sound uncommon for someone to die for innocent people. Jesus died for all of us none us being innocent because you're born into sin. That's the nature of man. No matter how small or big they all fall under the one classification of sin. So knowing all of this he died for us so we could get rid of the inevitable judgement that sin brings which is in death. I don't have to understand why he did it but I have to know why he did it. He did it out of Love. Sometimes we minimize it all because we're concerned with understanding why and missing the reason why.
