God sends rain on the just and unjust.
Even in Matthew 5:45, it says God will send sunshine or rain on the just and unjust. It is God's call and we have to trust Him for the ultimate good for His glory will prevail. I have read the end of the Book and it says the good guys win. Even in the book of Habakkuk, the prophet asks God why is a lesser evil taken over or destroyed by a greater evil. God's answer is both will come to judgement in time. God used the greater evil to punish the lesser evil but the greater evil was still judged for its deeds against God and his people.
We serve a just God and our faith has to be in Him and His decisions but that does not mean we cannot question Him and then wait for His divine answer. I have learned that I can ask God any question, have emotions on His answers and He still loves me and cares for me through Jesus' who died for my sins and covered me from the wrath of God. I have never thought to read the book of Habakkuk until now but it fits what is going on in our society today. Just a thought.
