The Nehemiah Project: Day Eight

-This entire chapter is about the entire city gathered together to worship. There is power in the collective worship of the community.
-This passage also demonstrates the priority of Jerusalem after the walls were rebuilt. They wanted to make known their dedication to what the Lord wanted to do among them.
-Their hearts were tender to the will of God. As a leader, I believe it is imperative that our hearts remain soft and open to the things of the Lord.
