No arguments here...
It's very important to see just how God wants us as his children to respond to temptation. In that no matter what we are faced with, if Christ himself was to be tempted, with all his infinite power at hand and the relationship which he as the son of God had with his father that no one is above it. That is why we are shown how to handle any temptation- with the word of God. The fact is Christ didn't give Satan any chance to trip him up in an argument about right or wrong, circumstance, or cause and effect. He simply qouted the scripture then told him to "get ta steppin!". This is why we are told we should have an intimate knowledge of the Word (which is Christ himself). God bless.
