Matt. 16:13 - Who do you say the Son of Man is?
Weekly thought is Who do people (the world) say the Jesus is? Who do I think Jesus is? Who does the church think Jesus is?
This question is simple yet complex all at the same time. He is God yet man. He is my friend yet also my Savior. He is my all in all. No matter what I need or when I need it; it is Him who provides it.
It is MY job and OUR job to get the message out to others who don't know Jesus; don't understand Jesus or who think Jesus doesn't care about them. So many people are hurting in this great big world and need us. We need to show Christ's love to the world.
They may never read a Bible unless we give them a reason to try. Lots of people think churches are full of hypocrits pretending to be perfect and they will never fit in, not full of real people. Show them that you are a real Jesus loving living person who does make mistakes but that we all mess up and Christ paid the price and forgives us and we carry on.
