Keep your dreams to yourself?

Joseph didn't seem to have a lot of wisdom at this point in his life. He probably believed that he was untouchable since he was his father's favorite. He was the spoiled kid, the tattletale of the family... and in this case, the instigator of his own slavery. It would have been better for Joseph if he had kept his dreams to himself -- or at least just shared them with his father, not his brothers.
And yet... if Joseph hadn't been lacking in wisdom, if he hadn't been a little full of himself, if he hadn't been the favorite & the tattletale, and if he hadn't shared the dream with his brothers, then he never would have gotten sold into slavery and the fulfillment of the dream might have never happened.
That's something to think about...
