The Power of the spoken word!
I have always been amazed that once the blessing had been given it could not be taken back or changed. Once a word is spoken it cannot be taken back. If only I could remember that every day as I speak words of encouragement or discouragement to others. Have you ever been hurt by the words of others? Did that hurt disappear even after they apologized for what they had said? No, the hurt remained because once the word is spoken it cannot be taken back. Lord, help me to choose my words wisely!
