Overstepping Authority


Moses knew that the Egyptians wouldn't take kindly to him killing one of their own... but I wonder if he was expecting the backlash from the very people he was trying to protect? He literally put his life on the line to protect a Hebrew slave, but instead of gratitude, he gets attitude: "Who do you think you are? Who made you our boss?"

Unfortunately, whenever you overstep your authority -- even with the best of intentions -- it is pretty much guaranteed to backfire.
