The Great Commission

One of my greatest memories and blessings are when I was instrumental in the carrying out these very scriptures. I may have been saved for a year when I lead someone to the Lord. It was amazing and felt like Christ was hugging me personally. So, this lead me to this thought...

What is blessing? I believe there is no greater blessing than feeling like Jesus is hugging me. Don't get me wrong, praise and worship, alone time, diving into Gods word, and being obedient can facilitate that intimate experience but, I will admit that sometimes singing praises, reading God's Word or being obedient may not result in the "Hug". These are simply vehicles to means. So, why not? It is my heart and spirit. Sometimes I am not in the place to receive the "Hug". I believe Christ wants to hug his children every moment.

I strive for the perfection commanded in God's Word, but with the cloke of carnality, we can miss our "Hug". With that said, I choose to see thing differently.

I am not a carnal person having spiritual experiences but rather, a spiritual individual having carnal experiences.
