Jesus is the lord of Sabbath.

Recently my kids have been watching Kunfu Panda of DVD. As an add-on to the DVD, there is a piece of documentary explaining Chinese culture and how to use chopsticks. Kids have been telling me, "Daddy, you should not use chopsticks this way. The video says you should be doing that." I would smile and say, "I'm from China. The video is for those who have not been to China and do not know Chinese culture."

These verses explain roughly the same thing. Pharisees were trying to teach Jesus what God's "culture" is. They didn't realize He is God.
