So often I am tempted to join in mocking. I pastor a church, a small church, and sometimes in small churches gossip travels quickly. Everyone knows everyone else and everyone knows everyone's business. Perhaps one of the reasons why I sometimes feel drained of joy is because I'm too quick to join in "behind the back mocking" and not quick enough to put out the fire of mocking.

A challenge, for sure.
