It's funny how it can take going to the otherside of the world to find God. Why is that? I think sometimes we have to strip ourselves of what is familiar and dive deep into the unknown. Jesus didn't say it would be a comfortable choice. He told people to leave their families and join him in his walk. Distractions can be so subtle that you don't even relise they're happening. I came home from Vietnam with a plan. A plan to keep reading my bible every morning like I had been doing for the 2 previous months. But alas, routine and familiarity robbed me of that intimacy I had created. I'm so excited to regain what I feel like I have lost. I hope that you too can find a way to walk with God that is personal to you. It's not about the places you go or the people you meet but rather the way you decided to meet with God.
