Put off the old!!!
44 And the dead man came out, his hands and feet bound in graveclothes, his face wrapped in a head cloth. Jesus told them, "Unwrap him and let him go!"
Well here we have Lazarus who was dead. He is now alive because Jesus told him to come out of the grave.
This verse means something to me because the dead mans grave clothes represent sin and death and my past life. But Jesus says to unwrap him and take off all the junk. Therefore he is a new creation in a sense. But I like that because we are to do the same thing which is to take off the old and put on the new.
Lord help me keep sin off and to not put on the grave clothes lord. That is not what you have called me to.
