I have found that any scripture that applies to my relationship with Christ may also effectively be applied to husband/wife relationships.

To get and keep a good marriage, do as the Bible says and "Remember the height from which you have fallen". Do not forsake your first worldly love; do NOW to keep them what you USED TO DO to get them in the first place.

1) Make sure you're still best friends
2) Make sure you're still walking with God; not perfect but always progressing.
3) Make sure you're still making your partner better ("As iron sharpens iron" - Prov 27:17)
4) Make sure you still have a vision that you're striving for daily
