Implications

The implications of this are tremendous! And I'm not sure I quite like them. This scripture insinuates that some sorrow is of God! In all honesty this doesn't excite me too much to know that all sorrow isn't sinful and of the world, because not only does that add confusion to my sorrow and where it comes from, but it also means that some sorrow is not conquerable. Can't conquer God!
Yet there's a relief to know that the sorrow of God, brings repentance, salvation, transformation! Ultimately this "good" sorrow draws me closer to God. However much I'm not a fan of sorrow; to know that it draws me closer to God, I think I'm willing to experience it.

What sorrows are these?

How much sorrow will I experience?

Are these stupid questions?

Can anyone relate?
