Wheres the Flashlight

Jesus therefore said unto them, Yet a little while is the light among you. Walk while ye have the light, that darkness overtake you not: and he that walketh in the darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.

So Jesus is telling the people that he is the light to follow him while he is there because when he is gone it will be easy for the darkness of the world to overtake them.

I like what Jesus says about walking while we have the light. I think its cool to think of Jesus as a spiritual flashlight. We have the light and can use it but do we turn it on or leave it off? I know in my life its so much clearer what I need to do when I use the light and walk in it than when I walk in darkness.

Lord help me to walk in the light. Help me to show others the light so that we may walk and see clearly.
