9Our Father in heaven,
may your name be kept holy.
10 May your Kingdom come soon.
May your will be done on earth,
as it is in heaven.
11 Give us today the food we need,s
12 and forgive us our sins,
as we have forgiven those who sin against us.
13 And don't let us yield to temptation,s
but rescue us from the evil one.s

What we know about God based on the Lord's Prayer.

1. He desires reverence. He is omnipotent. He is beyond me. He is infinitely great. I am a earth dweller.
2. He desires worship. He wants me to revere Him as God.
3. He desires for His kingdom to come. He wants me to have an eternal perspective with His priorities.
4. He desires obedience. He wants His will to be accomplished in my life and in all the earth.
5. He desires humility. He wants me to be dependent on him with unworried innocence.
6. He desires forgiveness. He wants me to receive His grace and righteousness. He me to live a forgiving life.
7. He desires righteousness. He wants us to live holy lives protected from the devil.

Father, in heaven. May it be so in my life.
