YOUR DECISIONS AFFECT MORE THAN JUST YOURSELF
Abram lied in order to protect himself (instead of trusting God to protect him!) and it seemed like a good decision at first. Sadly, he didn't end up bearing the brunt of this poor decision- Pharoah and his household did! They ended up being punished for sin they didn't know they were committing and it was because of Abram.
Trust God to protect you and remember that more is hanging in the balance than just your walk with Christ. Every day we are observed by believers and unbelievers who make decisions or formulate ideas based on our actions. Let those actions always show God's love and the righteousness of a redeemed Christian.
