What you focus on colors your life either positively or negatively. Abram and Lot had a GOOD problem- they were too rich! They had so many blessings that the land they were living on couldn't support both of them.

In these few verses we don't see how Abram and Lot reacted to the realization that they had grown too prosperous to share the land, we only see how their hired hands reacted. They reacted negatively and quarreled. But they didn't have to- they could have seen the problem for what it really was- difficult, but the results of a blessing- and calmly take the matter to Abram and Lot instead of arguing.

This reminds me to be careful about the way I think about my job. When there is a lot of work it is because we are blessed as a company with lots of orders. I need to keep this perspective- lots of work is a blessing!!! There are so many out there who don't have jobs or are afraid of losing their job because their business is not doing well.

I praise God that I belong to a company that is doing well and I pray that He will help me to be a good steward of my job and teach me to have a good attitude even when it seems like there is "too much" work to be done.
