Find your focus

This is a great example of the importance of finding your focus in the body of Christ. The apostles knew that they were called and gifted in the area of teaching. With this said, there were many needs in the Church outside of teaching the Word. Instead of personally fulfilling every need in the Church, the apostles found other believers to help in these areas. This is a very important life principle. God gives us all gifts and special abilities. We will have the best result if we learn to focus our resources in these areas and minimize our time spent on other things (no we can't completely ignore everything else). When we realize that we are simply NOT called to meet every need that arises around us, then we are free to focus on what God has created us to do and DO IT WELL!
