Ouch!
John 15:1 “I am the true vine; my Father is the gardener.2 He cuts off every branch of mine that does not produce fruit. And he trims and cleans every branch that produces fruit so that it will produce even more fruit.
What does a branch being cut off look like in my walk with Christ? There are behaviors in my life that Christ needs to cut out in order for my life to bring Him glory. It is not a pleasant experience when those branches are revealed as ones that need to be cut off but it’s worth the pain.
Lord Jesus, what branches are You looking to cut off that are not producing fruit in my life? Bring out the shears and let the pruning begin
