Jesus is Scary

Again and again in scripture we see people afraid of Jesus. Here, people are begging him to leave, because they are afraid of what they've seen him do.
Coming into contact with the creator of the universe is frightening! Even the lowly angels brought fear. Today, we run from fear as fast as we can. If we keep running from everything that brings fear, we may find ourselves running from God.
