Isaac and Ishmael
Abraham is said to be 46 when Ishmael was born and 100 when Isaac is born, yet, it says that when Isaac is born Sarah and God ask him to have Ishmael removed. The description looks as if Ishmael was a child, but that can not be if the age difference is correct. When Isaac was born Ishmael would have already been middle aged. He certainly would not be looking to his mother to get him a drink of water and there would be no growing in the wilderness. He would have already done his growing at Abraham's camp. Just a thought.
